I heard this from the ignored-but-turned-on television. It was from an Katie Holmes movie from the 90’s. She was in a choir that was asked to yell this out to the heavens.

The Brutal Truth

I am not afraid to call it like I see it. This is my opinion, and if it bears some truth for you, so be it. If any resistance to what I perceive as true is offered, then there is nothing anyone can do really. Opinions are opinions, and I will do my best to respect yours.

09 is not a strong batch.

We have been the weakest, in terms of numbers and grades in the longest time, and not one member of 09 would refute that statement. We’re not complaining. Any 09 student will admit this to you, with only the inhibitions provided by etiquette and politeness, on behalf of our other batch mates. Teachers have said this as well, and no matter how much people try to soften it, the facts are irrefutable. Whatever is, is, and anything that cannot be changed has been accepted, no matter how painful.

This is a concept in economics that we learned and is easy enough to understand. I watched it on the news last night. According to experts, the global economic crisis is going to last until 2010 and that the optimum solution for the average consumer is to save and prepare for the future, that their demand for products should be cut down to the necessities. Any fourth year student can tell you that this is wrong.

Valentine’s Day/Single Awareness Day Greetings

Ah, valentine’s day. Such a wonderful day not to be single. On this day, it is quite tough to heed the ever-existent desire to be non-cliche.You either go with the whole Valentine’s enchilada or you skip it entirely. Trust me, the first feels a helluva lot better.

Anyway, to the point. I firmly believe that the following Valentine’s Day greetings have been said at one point, in any given place or another. XD
